This exclusive guarantee applies only to all new Savin MFP's purchased directly from Scott Technology Group.

EFFECTIVE DATE
This guarantee shall become effective upon the purchase of the unit provided that the dealer has entered into a Maintenance Agreement as of that date.

INITIAL PERIOD AND EXTENSION
The initial period of this guarantee shall be five years or the copy volume specified below, whichever occurs sooner.  We will extend the guarantee for an additional period or the copy volume specified below if we are authorized to perform such shop reconditioning of the unit as we deem necessary at the expiration of the initial period.  We will submit a cost estimate for the reconditioning based on our then current published pricing, but we agree to limit that pricing to not more than 110% of the price of the annual full coverage Maintenance Agreement which corresponds to the client's annual volume.  In lieu of returning to the client its' unit, we may substitute at our option another reconditioned unit of a similar model (for the same cost).  Charges for this reconditioning or replacement are in addition to Maintenance Agreement charges.  If the client does not authorize the reconditioning, we will not be bound to extend this guarantee beyond the initial period.  However, we will continue to provide service on a "Per call" basis at the rates in effect at the time.
